Hayame Problem Again??
Hayame Problem Again??
HEy guys, i'm one of the few that may still have the Hayame's on their ride. I have one of the final batch's that were released. I'm using the latest releases from them. Anyways, i was wondering if any of you are having issues with your alignment on the Hayames? I'm not exactly sure if the coilovers are the problem or if its the shop that aligned my car, tomorrow i will find that out. Anyways, I was just curious if anyone else using the Hayames are having issues with unusual tire wear on the front two tires? I have a camber kit on the rear and my rears are perfectly fine, i'm having bad tire wear on the front set of tires and my car does pull to the right. Anyways i think it was fine when they did the alignment, but maybe a few days later it felt like it started to pull to the right. I'm not sure if they just came unaligned or what may have happend. But yeah, check out my pics.

Thats my other post, but check out my pics in there. For some reason, do to the problems i've had with these and the problems others have had, i want to say it's a very good chance my car came unaligned do to the poor design. But that is to find out. Basically has anyone else had alignment issues with their Hayames coming unaligned?

I don't have an alignment yet but I have mad toe issues and it doesn't look like there are enough threads on the tie rods to take all the toe out in an alignment. I'm willing to bet they couldn't get all of the toe out when you got your's done and just didn't tell you that.
well i'ts confirmed, my 2nd set of Hayames are defective. The wiggle is back after a month of driving causing the toe to go in and out everytime I hit a bump. I took it back to the shop and the readings were so completely different and the wheels shake madly in the front. The strut inside the shaft wiggles all around. It's just not a good thing, so yeah i'm sending them back and getting D2's instead. I hope I dont have the issues with those. A set of $650.00 Hayames ended up costing me total $1320 by the time I'm done with everything. YEah i'm never going to go with a new product again, i learned my lesson hardcore. So yeah, the wiggle in the front struts caused the toe to go in and out everytime a bump was it. So it totally ruined 2 brand new front tires on my ride.
D2's are on order and hopefully here within a week.
