Well, I could see the advantage to having a camera in my car to record things when I need them to be recorded (ie a pig stopping me) although its wont be admissible in court it could be used for other things such as accident investigations.
How much you figure a setup like tihs is gonna cost? Do they sell good quality cameras with decent wide angle lense? Where would I buy it, where would I stash it?

Use a CarPuter and have a webcam hooked up which aims out the window or whatever. You can trigger when it starts recording, so when a cop pulls you over, you can have it on your CarPC. This has been covered in another forum so if you want more info, toss me a PM.
