H22 question
H22 question
ok i am getting ready to swap the engine in my 97 civic ex and the h22 engine has more hp and is cheaper than a gsr engine but i heard its a rather large engine and i can't mod it (because there is no room) at all after i get it like a turbo and stuff is that true?

H22 is a very heavy motor for Civic. I know three guys using that engine in EG hatch backs and they like the straight away power but claim it to be too heavy. The fourth guy in the group with the B16A swap in the EG hatch owns them all every day of the week.

you can mod it...hell, you probably need to get an aftermarket header just to make it all fit....get the hasport mounts and it'll go in like it was made for that bay...
