For 2001 civics, is there any specific type of grease for the upper strut mount where the 2 plastic pieces rub on each other on turns. I did my springs and noticed it was kinda cream/blue colour. I want to clean the old grease and re-grease them because I think some dirt may have gotten in between during my install.

I used a lubriplate.........it is used in engine building for gears and stuff. Works great to prevent friction, rust and corrosion.

You can find it at any local parts store
