I tried to search the forums about this but it dont give me enough information and it takes a long time. SO im asking all owners of turbocharged 7thgens and other wners who can help me. I have 04 VP Coupe which is DX/LX, they are the same to eachother in terms of engine parts.RIght???Would SF Turbo kit Or Maxrev turbo kit fit on my engine. Its SOCH engine non vtec D17. As you probably know cat is built into header, so what should i do if i get turbo, can i relocate the cat underneath the car or is that illegal? I saw couple posts talking about that. Anyway are those kits available for 7thgens ONLY for EX or will it fit for all models including LX / DX / VP(which is new DX). Is there a difference(in fitting) in turbo manifolds between those models???, or i can use any turbo manifold as long as its for D17.

nope these turbo kit are for all model of civic. when ordering just tell them it is for a lx.

gl trying to get a hold of SF. Expect 5-10000000000000000 months of waiting. And still get a $hitty kit.

MaxRev I think they redid their kit but no one tested yet.

^^^I don't thinks there's such thing as the best kit for our car coz we only have a very few choices... as you know nobody likes making **** for our cars...

but if you lookin at the best bang for a buck is either sf<<< lot of bad feedbacks(long wait, bad CS), turbodiscounters, or custom build your own... search on and turbo info here is enough for you to build and install for your own...

From my own research, for a small engine, boosted guys here recommended a T3 or a T25... and an Air-H2O intercooler, and a 38mm BOV... but then again correct me if i'm wrong... i'm no boost guru but try PM'ing Opto-isolator <<<he knows alot when it comes to this stuff!

but wait until dezod complete their project... maybe if you jump on it right now they'll give you a nice deal!!!

Yea just wait it out thats what I have been doing after creeping around this forums for this whole year, I have realized not to get a turbo and wait till next year and see if some new ones come out, and if nothing comes out by summer.......... k20 it is then .

^^^that's the only problem... you need to have a hook up with somebody with a mendrel machine... but the price would vary... some parts you can get used for cheap here or you have to find a nice place with great discount!

probably the only brand new item that you need to buy is the turbo... the rest no problem if it's used, so you can save...

I did waited for mine here in 7thgen, and last month everybody's just selling their turbo kit, so I got to drop the price for 1900shipped with boost, air/fuel gauge, apexi turbo timer, tapped oil pan and the complete turbo kit with turboxs manual boost controller... the turbo got around 10-12k miles... not bad for the price... IMO

like I said wait around and do research for now, and if somebody selling their kit for cheap jump on it!
