Rear speakers screw up with rear seats closed.
Rear speakers screw up with rear seats closed.
I have a 12" shiva in the trunk with two 6x9 infinity kappa's as rear speakers.
When I have the seats closed, my kappa's screw up and they can't go up very loud. I'm assuming it’s because of my sub, and the bass is messing them up.
Is there anything I could do to?
BTW sounds awesome with the seats down, but I they can't always be down :'(.
Oh and on another note, is the input sensivity and gain the same thing?

if that is the case i would build a lil box for the 6x9's. but it sounds like to me the phaze might be messed up. u might wanna check it. cuz with the seat up essentailly your making a box with air flow movement.
like said above, give these two things a try and let us know how it sounds. Disconnect the Shiva and put the seats up, how does it sound? If that doesn't help, switch the polarity of one of the rear speakers, only one of them. Let us know how it sounds.

try the foam baffles behind them, it should keep the air that the subs are moving from making the 6 by nines sound like ****
