I see it all over, but it doesn't seem to work. I put it on my ground connections, but they're still corroding because of the humidity.

It's not waterproof like it says, and everytime it rains, the stuff dries into powder. Then the corrosion starts and I have to constantly sand rust away.

Yup says right on it. The ground for my amps inside the car is perfectly fine. It's the engine grounds (and HID) that keep rusting so fast. I think it's where I live. My front rotors rust up in only one day.
Sometimes, I can see right through myself ...

Steel + moisture = rust. It's a normal thing. Don't worry about it. Hell, after a rain your rotors will be rusty. It's fine. It's a super-thin layer. First time you step on the brakes, it'll go away.

ok thanks so i guess ill just keep looking around. and yes i did ask the salesman and they said no. so ill check home depot....ace hardware and stores like that. thanks! and when i apply the grease on to the battery terminal do i put the gobs of grease in the terminal connector or the terminal itself?
For the battery terminal, Vaseline works fine and lasts a very long time. The factory petroleum gel on the battery terminal is very similar. Do not substitute dielectric grease for other applications like spark plug wires (on cars which have them), electrical sockets, etc as the Vaseline will not stand the high temperatures and is possibly not safe on certain types of rubber.

my mom bought a tube at radio shack. but as mentioned above, you can use a number of compounds to simply protect the area from corrosion. i'm just scared of vasoline in the engine bay because it is a petroleum product. but maybe i'm just weird.
pb blaster, wd-40, or liquid wrench are all in my arsenal when it comes to corrosion, i mostly just let it happen (living in the salt belt, rust WILL happen)
