RSX rear sway bar installed (Review inside) LONG
I finally installed the RSX bar this afternoon at my buddies dealership. My car is 1000000000% stock.
The installation was pretty easy and took about 10 min, but we put it on upside down the first time. I checked the DIY pictures on this site and realized this, so we took it off and put it on the right way.
We took it for a test drive and the rear of the car had NOTICEBLY LESS body roll. I was kind of skeptical at first that the rear RSX bar would make such a drastic difference, but it did.
Pros: Very easy install, body roll is reduced, bang for buck (pay only 55 or under for the bar, bushing, brackets), and no change in ride quality.
Cons: The rear bar does not fit 100% perfectly like the OEM bar did (fit is like 95-97%) Slight hint of oversteer (but if you've driven your civic for like 3 months then you're probably familiar with your cars handling dynamics so this shouldn't be a problem).
So anyone who is remotely into handling get this bar ASAP!!!!!

Just to give a more visible example on how much a simple upgrade like a 19mm anti-roll bar can make... Assuming both the 13mm Stock bar and the RSX 19mm bar are solid, that means the 19 mm bar is about 456% stronger then the stock 13mm bar.
Using the larger bar diameter^4/smaller bar diameter^4 * 100 = percent change in stiffness Formula.
Personally I ran the 19mm bar for a while, originally with the 01's stock 25.4mm front anti roll bar... I then replaced the 25mm bar with an 03s 16mm front bar.... and now........ I recently replaced the 19mm rear bar with a 25.4mm Hollow 2 point adjustible rear bar.
Handles Great for what I do, which is autocross.

I've got a 19mm bar - I agree, for the price it's a fantastic upgrade.
How would that 03 front sway help me with the 19 in the rear? My car would be 98% street, 2% auto-x.

you'd get a bit more oversteer, and you'd have better traction on the nose for corner exit acceleration.
with my setup, 15.9mm front 25.4mm rear, I run -2.5 camber in the front. Even still, when I ran the 15.9mm front and the 19mm rear, I only had -.6 in the front, and it still handled MUCH Better then with the 25.4 mm front.. I just had to run Higher tire preasures to lower the amound of tire rollover
