If there is, it won't last nearly as long as stock. If you get one for a turbo or something, make sure it's made new out of forged steel. No regrinds--they won't last.

I havent had any luck either. Ive been told that your stock camshaft will do just fine unless you plan on force inducting, boring, and all that other internal stuff to your engine. I think most manufactures make cams for DOHC engines since those are the most powerful and popular platforms for engine build-ups!
Sometimes, I can see right through myself ...

Isn't ExoSpeed Racing supposed to be building cams for us? I know they've already got new valves, springs and retainers for our head.
Crower will hardface and regrind your cam for like $500 or something. It wont wear out like a cam that has only been reground. It will take a lil while for them to do it though. They are among the best. Pay the money if your gunna do it, U can buy one crower regrind for like 500 or ten of the other ones for like half the price. lol you tell me where the money gets saved hehe.
actually, run a search for camshaft and look for the thread with pics... if you send in the cam, crower will regrind for $170, not $500 ... I posted the regrind spec sheet and the reciept I believe ... still havent gotten it or the head installed yet tho ... damn legal issues 8( just gave the Clerk of the Court all my install money today and still owe another $738 ...
Sorry guys- haven't been on here for a LONG time! I've had a cam for a over a year now. It's a GUDE regrind. It works great- got a lot more power than I/H/E. I'd reckon they aren't lying about the ~ 19 hp from the cam.
* warning * if you are getting a cam, get a cam gear- you need it as often the TDC is off for regrinds & it causes problems.
There is nothing wrong w/ regrinds, people!
From a trusted shop that has helped me build my ride:
The concept of how performance cams work is probably one of the most misunderstood areas in the automotive performance area. At DynoSpot Racing, we’ve participated in extensive professional cam development and design courses to gain a more information about performance cams than 99.99% of the population would want to know! To simplify what we have learned, let us just say that a well-designed cam correctly brings that head and bottom-end of a motor together. With this in mind, we have found that many of the popular cam companies are not spending enough time developing or educating the public about their products. This means lost HP and crucial torque.
DynoSpot has spent quite some time developing our own specialty-racing parts. One of the products that we are particularly proud of is our “S” and “R” series cams. As you may have guessed, we have “street” and “race” cams for some popular applications and will be adding more in our line-up as we evolve.
DynoSpot Racing’s philosophies on cams are to bring to the public the highest performance and most economical camshafts in the entire industry. Because of this, we choose to offer 'regrinds' although we have no problem charging your more with our grinds on factory billets per your request. Regrinds have many advantages over new billet cams.
