AEM SRI or AEM CAI?

which one do you guys prefer AEM SRI or AEM CAI?
any gains and sounds on both?

I have an AEM V2 (sitting in the garage) and I tried to hook it up and it wont fit. So I just decided on getting SRI or regular CAI...save me some extra $$$ for other mods heehee

any suggestions on which one I should pick up?

oh bother...anyway....hmm, i just got the sri. its nice. i notice i don't have to push that hard on the pedal anymore at all...i.n fact, i'm actually very light on it if anything now. it does make a slight hiss noise when u first start the car....to me, it sounds like your belts going bad on a 10 year old car in the peak of winter as you warm it up before going to work. word....pretty bad sounding, but after your car is warm, u don't hear it at all. it looks nicer than the cai i think cause u see the filter. it desn't really do much for performance, but you feel it a little. and you hear it in the cabin a little. there is a deeper tone to the engine when you push down on the gas...esp once you hit 3k+ rpms. i think its nice and deep, but thats inside the car. yeah..so thats my look on it. then agian, thats just my opinion. could be annoying to other people...but then again, other people like family size tomato soup can exhausts. werd

Aem V2

I was reading up on some of the older post. I found out that the AEM V2 for the 7th gen are like SRI. The filter is right by the battery. I was thinkin the filter all the way down below the battery. But then again, the V2 that I have is for 96-00 civic lx, dx, cx. I dunno if there is any difference between V2 for 6th gen and 7th gen. I'll check it out again and i'll post again.
