vafc installing problem... need some help

vafc installing problem... need some help
Hi guys.. since the v-tec part of the vafc doesnt work wit our cars... would it be possible for me to install a vafc normally as a safc without using the vtec option... i need it for my turbo.... can u use the normal diagram to install it and just leave the vtec wires from the vafc hanging there.. would the fuel/air work the same?
