Dude, I can beat you a little bit, but not by much. Got an oil change on 5/21 with 13957, then got one on 6/17 with 17047.

That makes 3090 miles in 27 days. That is 114.44 miles per day. Gas bill for June was somewhere in the neighborhood of $180, don't know all the other crap, but I know my average gas price was higher, because unil a week ago you couldn't buy the cheap **** for 2.06 a gallon (I go with Chevron, every tank)

I said goddamn!

I drive a **** load too, but I am not sure how much per month, I live in Queen Creek, work in Phoenix, so you can imagine right there...

84 miles round trip, home>work>home

thats 420 a week

1680 a month, then, if I decide to go anywhere, such as the store or what not...

I am probably at 2500+ miles a month

I have 110K plus miles (bought my vic in May 01)
I average 170 miles per day (GF lives on opposite side of town, Gilbert to Surprise is my commute, plus I have friends in Glendale/Peoria/Queen Creek/Chandler/DTown Phoenix we visit at least twice a week)

Damn, Alex. I drive just about as much as you do. Surprise to Tempe Town Lake every day. About 92 miles round trip, and I get about 410-430 mi/tank. I've had my 'Vic for about 15 months and I already have about 32,000 miles on it. I guess lots of driving is pretty much the norm for living in the Phoenix area.

yeah one of the guys at hasport told me its a great change. more torque (which i like alot). I'm just trying to find a salvage yard/junk yard and buy it off of them (do you know of any place I can go?). I saw an auction on ebay this week for a k24 (engine only) with a buy it now set at $1200. Thats way cheap...

you will basicly need the same things that you would need for a k20 motor swap..be sure to get get everything from the motor....you can use the CRV, Element, or the Accord motor...some people are trying the TSX motor but it uses and electronic throtle..no cable but its 200hp and 160 tq vs 160 and 160 for the other three. i know a guy that has one in his EP3 with I/H/E and Ktune....he will have it dialed in this week to the tune of about 170hp and 160tq at the wheel!!!!

also be aware there is a 92-95 hatch with a k24 in it also....208 at the wheel!!!!!!!!

this is the block to have...the first thing to do though is get a rsx type s head or CTR or ITR head....that way you get I-vtec on the intake and exhaust...this will be the set up to have..the only downside to the motor is the massive stroke legnth ( i have the same problem)...basicly limits the rpm to about a max of 7...maybe 8k...people have started to de-stroke the motor with a S2000 crank and custom rods a pistons...basicly a 2.3L motor, 10.5-11.5 to one compression that will rev to 8500 easy...personally...ill take a 6500-7000 rpm redline if im still getting 200 whp all motor....i doubt ill ever have the money for a big cam, all motor setup that needs to rev that high..if i want power...ill super or turbo charge it and keep it at 7 grand with 300+whp....

sorry for the book on k24 crap on the i drive to much thread...ill relate it to the topic now

i dont give a F that i drive this much cause D17s are $600 and i want a k24 anyways..

thats my plan, get the engine, put on a rsx types s head on it, and then turbo it, all of this will be cheaper than the k20 swap plus turbo over all, and I dont mind the rev limit, as long as I have the torque/hp to back it up i'm good, whats the point to having 300+ hp without the torque right? and one of the guys at hasport told me to get the CRV engine, its easier to drop in and install (i think it was because of the linkage or something like that, I forget, next time he goes to the bank and deposits i'll ask him again)

ya..ask him for sure...i think the crv has the lowest compression of the 4 k24s out right now also..that would make it best for your turbo

Actually Brian Gillespe of HAsport is a member on our site. His SN is briang. I've PMed him a few times. I had seen him at the drags and didn't get a chance to talk to him. He told me to definitely come up and say hello next time. Cool guy.
