More proof of Celica GT > Civic Si
I know this is redundant...... but I want to see ANY Civic Si, in this entire site, with just CAI & Exhaust, run 15.4s @ 88mph

Rep Power: 0 LOL thanks... yes, a car's performance is measured by not just 1/4mile, but everything else. However, keep in mind a stock (!) Celica pulls .87g on the skidpad.... compared to .74g for our Civics 
... and can come to a halt from 60mph in a tad over 120 feet (compared to nearly 140 for Civics).

isn't the celica priced against the rsx and prelude... not a civic? once the same dollar is invested in both cars i think a civic would have an edge.

My point was that people were claiming that Civics were legitimately quicker than Celicas. Who was talking about anything goes streetraces? We were clearly talking about one car that was quicker than the other. "Dude your talking about a mid 15 sec car! It's not impressive... Give it up..." HAHAHA whatever. First of all, I never said that a mid-15 sec car is quick, did I? But having said that, you guys pad each other on the back and give each other thumbs up for breaking into 15's. What a way to contradict yourself.

hey i have an 02 stock lx that beats my friends 03 celica gt all the time. he just cant drive. and that is stock for stock.
i dunno but i would think that coming onto a 7thgencivic site to trash 7thgens are kinda hypocritical.
oh and i think celica gts wouldn't beat a stock civic sir because i think they come stock with k20s

this is my third honda civic and my last. the quality has dropped significantly over the last 10 years. my original 1988 civic that was made in japan was by far the best. honda today is more concerned with profit margins and high sales volumes rather than a long term commitment to its customers.

i think a celica is a peice of ****, i honestly think civics are crap too but hey why you hating on all of us..
