Just a guess, but is your timing correct? Here's some more.

-spark plugs installed?
-fuel injector connectors plugged in?
-sensors all connected?

If it's not even cranking at all, it's something you forgot to put back the way it was.

first, when you started all of your wiring, did you disconnect the battery...if not, you might have blown a fuss somewhere...when you turned the key, what happened, and what didnt happen....you said that you heard the sf fuel pump...did you radio and other accessory stuff come on....you could possibly have hooked something up wrong....give us some more info to help you

Yeah it's hard to help without knowing specifics. Is it clicking or just silent like the battery is unplugged. Could also be a loose vacuum line.

I figured it out. When i took my oil pan off, my (auto) transmission must have gotten knocked out of park.

It all makes sense this way. If anyone has an auto, they'll know that the car won't start if it isnt in park.

Also, i was able to push to the car when it was in P, so obviously it was actually in neutral. All I gotta do is push it back to where it should be and connect the trans housing thing again and **** should work fine.

Thanks
