yeah, unfortunately he's right. if you go out and fix every dent and scratch, the process will never end. little unexpected things always show up. it sucks that it happened though

It's always gonna happen. I have a door with a few dings and a scratch. Even if they fix it, you can still tell where it was. I guess just learn to live with it.

Look for someone who can do PDR (Paintless dent removal) near you, most body shops. It'll probably run you about $100-150 to get it popped out, but I had a ding popped out, I couldn't stand it.

I think maybe you should just start trailering your car everywhere so you don't have to ever worry abuot dents again.

I use a paintless dent repair place. They have done INCREDIBLE work. I cannot tell where my door dents were. Unless the paint gets chipped, of course. Last 3 dings cost me $125, but worth it.

I agree - paintless dent repair rocks. I've had a few door dings and pretty massive hail damage correct with PDR, and you can't tell - no new paint, the lines are perfect, and the paint's all intact. From the looks of that dent, PDR would work perfectly because there's no paint chip and it's in the middle of the panel.

Two places around here are Dent Doctor and Dent Wizard - both of which do good work.

And they probably won't even take the door apart to fix it. The guy that did mine, just used a rod with a ball point on it and shoved it between the window like a slim jim. He then carefully tapped any imperfections out from the outside using a soft almost crayon-like tool and a small mallet. He did all this in my driveway, in 20 minutes.

That was the Dent Wizard. They rock! Most will even come to you.

yea i got a pretty bad dent on my sedan, its about 6 inches vertically it happened just a week after i brought it back from the dealer!! piece of crap.

ahha one time i saw some lady in a cadillac trying to park but she didnt turn hard enough so she hit the car next to the spot she was aiming for, the other cars bumper fell off and the taillights she hit were toally busted! she backed up looked around and just boned out. funny but i was really pissed at how she just sped off after causing so much damage.
