2002 Civic Ex Turbo For Sale!

Allright, please don't jump on me about this one, cuz I love this car to death! I bought it brand new in the fall of 2002. Honda Civic EX 5spd Vtec....Since then...it has been absolutley babied! This car only has 13,400 miles on it. As you can see it is fully modded. I have over $35,000.00 into it right now. I just put the turbo on a few weeks ago...I think the car has been driven probably about 100 miles with the turbo. Absolutely no scratches, the wheels and tires have about 200 miles on them....brand new, just got them for graduation a couple weeks ago. Everything is in 100% perfect shape. The inside is immaculate....everything PERFECT. Check it out on www.cardomain.com/id/2002silverex I really don't want to sell this, but as some of you know family comes first, and I found out I am going to be a father, so I have no other choice.... If something comes up, and the car is no longer for sale, I will have it posted immediately! Its such a shame to put all this money and work into this car...but we gotta do what we gotta do! There will be ABSOLUTELY no parting out...I don't want to fool with it. So I guess make an offer, and we will go from there! Please don't low ball me. I will keep the car, and take on four more jobs, before I let this car go for less than it's worth just because I need the money! Thanks...

noone wants a car, your best luck is parting it out, but then you said you don't want to do that.

Okay, because there was confusion on how I have 35,000 into my car, I will lay it out for you...These prices below are not prices that I am seeling stuff for, these prices below are the prices I paid for everything, I am not parting out, I am just giving you an idea of where i figured 35,000. All these prices below, do not include the professional installation I had to pay for.

17,000 for the car....1,900 for the first set of wheels and tires....1,700 for this set of wheels and tires....600 for the hood, 300 for the grills....1600 for the body kit (painted)....400 for the second back bumper (cracked the first one).....300 for window tint......350 for the carbon fiber wing.....700 for the exhaust......300 for the dc header (not installed, comes with car)......200 for injen intake (not installed comes with car).....650 for the seats.....50 for shift ****.....20 for shift boot.....70 for pedals....roughly 2500 into the stereo system......330 for headlights.....180 for taillights......190 for underbody blue lights.....30 for in car neon lights......200 for radar detector.....350 for eibach suspension......110 for strut bar.....200 for trunk work (removed all badges, had to be filled, and repainted).....3300 for turbo kit.....400 for boost controller.....50 for new plugs.....50 for synapse missing link.....400 for installation of turbo.....

This all = 35,000 and some change...this does not include the money I had to pay for everything to be professionally installed!

Ok so that being said and then you laying it all out... lemme help you out a little here so ur telling all these fine people straight... first off never tell people how much you have into you car unless you give them an honest answer... and an honest answer would not include the Value of your car in the cost of the money that has gone "into" your car, your car is not worht 17K without all ur parts either, just a little FYI, and secondly you don't include the first $1900 rims that you don't have anymore into that RIGHT NOW price, nor the new bumper, cause the old one isn't attached anywhere i hope right? and also the $500 of Header and intake uninstalled really isn't into the car but i'll give you the benefit of the doubt on that... with the 17K and the $2300 of parts that you "USE TA HAVE" taken out of the equation ur looking at a 16K into your car will all the installation fees ROUGHLY...

WHICH IN MY OPINION IS STILL A LOT MAN!!!! just don't try ta spit out all these numbers on here like we are friggen stupid... I love ur car, i think it's clean as hell and I hope you get the amount of money you want out of it from somebody when u sell it... just think about those things i pointed out to ya next time ya post... and if you correct them soon... i'll delete the first part of my post... and nobody will have ta know!!!

I say keep modding... but that's just me...

I guess it's $18,000 that went into the car then, but that's still a whole lot of money that is obvious from the work on the car. I think you should just mention to people the value of the aftermarket parts that will be sold with the car (whether they are currently installed or are being included with the sale). Some people wouldn't count those extra rims and body pieces that were damaged or not being included. But your car is really nice, somebody's gotta want it, all the work is done for them already!

put it on ebay with reserve of about 17k. stock in mint its only worth about 11k and w/ mods 6k more. They depreciate fast, 2 grand gets whacked right as soon as you drive it off the lot. good luck tho. Alot of the members here already own a 7thgen.

1---CAR---check Kelly Blue Book for private party value/or trade in then subtract 2 grand outta that price
2---BOLT ONS---half the price you paid for or 3/4 MAX if no damage! of it's original value
3---NEVER ADD PRICE WHAT'S NOT ON YOUR CAR AND OR INSTALLATION
4---PARTING OUT--- is the best option! coz mostly people just want to have a cheap car with less apr

First of all...I dont think I made it clear, I think you guys didn't understand what I was saying...those prices I gave you...that is not what I want to get for my car....I'm not an idiot, ive bought and sold many cars already...I know its not worth 30K.... I was just telling you what ive got into it...and eventhough the wheels arent on the car....I still have them, adn eveyrthing mentioned is included....just some parts arent on the car...

i know you don't want to part out with it but, like someone said in a previous post, maybe your best bet is to part out and sell the car as stock as possible. maybe you should just reconsider and put some thought into that. you know you can get rid of those aftermarket product pretty quick. people would just jump to it right away. that's just my opinion. anyway, good luck with it man.

Yeah...I know....I've got WWAAAYYYY to much money into this car, but everyone on this site knows how hard it is to not put every pay check you get right into the car... its definitly a money pit. My next car will be a car that is fast and looks good stock, so I don't have to do anything to it. Tint the windows, and put some nice wheels on it, and be done!

^^^LOL!!! That's what you're saying now. I said was gonna be all done with this whole modifying cars deal but as soon as i started with the rims, then came the drop, the exhaust, and everthing else. You know you can't roll on a set of rims w/o a nice drop. This whole import tuning is like a drug addiction that you can't get rid of. I've tried to stop but I can't.

Why did you sink all htat money into a four door. Dont want to flame, but damn bro.

You need to part that **** out. Save the rims and stereo for your next car. There are a few people who are looking for turbo kits. Bodykit for a four door you will have to sell cheap, not alot of people going as far as you w/ 4 doors. The ricer wing will be hard to sell for more than $150 also everyone is rolling clean these days.

Post your ride on ebay for $17,000 like someone said and try your luck. But you should realy just part it out.

Yeah. Your car looks awesome, but I wouldnt pay more then 11k for it. I could get a 300whp Sentra se-r for 6k and a really nice 200sx se-r (300whp) for like 9k

Modding is a lot of fun, but you never get that money back... lesson learned.

It really confuses me how people can put 20,40, or 60 grand into a car. Why dont they just buy a sports car to begin with?? take a 10k civic dump 30k into and its as fast as a 25k supra... Doesn't make much sense to me. I got my sentra into the 13's with only $1500 (but im a cheapskate)

I agree try e-bay and set a reserve.. good luck and again -- nice car.

I've decided not to sell my car... I'm starting to get addicted to the turbo... There's no better feeling then having a car pull up next to you....laugh at you cuz ur pimpin a 4 door civic....thinking there all hot **** in the car they think is fast....have the light turn green...and blow them away...lol that alone is enough reason to keep it...say nothing about all the money ive waisted on it... I just put my application into 3 more jobs...im going to work my a$$ off to keep this car...thanks a lot for all the help though guys! When I do decide to sell, I will put it on ebay, it seems like everyone thinks thats the best thing to do....thanks again!

NorthernNinja: you know why some people don't buy sports cars its b/c not everyone can afford the high *** insurance. now days to own a sports car you have to get raped by the insurance company. the other reason is that there is no greater feeling in tricking out your four banger and beating the living **** out of a muscle car.
