3rd Annual Mid-Atlantic Meet-- July 24th in PA! Come join us!!
hey guys, hopefully this isn't too short notice, but my signature says it all. We're having our 3rd mid-atlantic meet, just over a month away. It'll be held in Lebanon PA, and I figured maybe some of you living close to the US border would be interested in attending. If you come down driving in a caravan of civics, the trip would be fun and time would probably pass quickly (it would be about a 6hr drive). we are looking into getting a hotel discount, which will be listed on the webpage once it's confirmed. If you get your friends to share a room with you, you may end up only paying $20 a piece for the night, and well worth it to come and hang with the crew! so, let's see from representation from Canada!

"The only hotel with any rooms available the last time I checked was a Hampton Inn. They have rooms available for $119 per night. well last year we invited u guys to our niagra meet and none of u went cuz u were too scared of sars and ignorant thinkin we have it.... so since none of u went......... ill pass on this one....
I am sorry you feel that way, I doubt everyone feels like that tho. But you have to understand that SARS is not a curable disease yet. The one that said he is not afraid of it is a lair. My uncle's friend became ill during the SARS crisis and was mistaken for SARS when he only had pneumonia (they didn't give him the correct treatment and he passed away 
). There were many cases like that. As long as you showed symptom of SARS the hospital would put you into the same room with SARS patient. You may not had it but you would eventually get it when you were in a room with SARS patients.
When I went back Hong Kong during my summer vacation, you could see the fear of people(everywhere). Even though it was only a very slim chance of getting infected but would you risk it? I had my father left my car in the airport so I could drive alone(back home) and went straight down to basement so I wouldn't have any contact with my family (and stayed there for over a week wearing mask). Why? Just in case I had it I didn't want to infect others.
Please don't hate. It is a nature for humans to protect themselves. If you have the time to go you should.
Anyway this is my first time meeting all the 7geners. I didn't have time to go to the last 2 mid-atlantic meet and looking for a great time
