Here's how I nabbed one guy:
A guy tried to scam me out of the newer Phantom Face Alpines about a year ago on eBay. He said he sent the deck. I had paid $400. When no deck arrived, I started to email the other people he had done auctions with. All said he was shitty except for one. I had a friend who worked for a collections agency run his name. Now I had his Soc. number, lien info, previous residences, phone numbers of relatives and neighbors, roommates, etc. Cool eh? Not too legal but if you ask me more I'll play dumb. Turns out the roommate was the same person who had a "good" experience with him on eBay. OK now we had shrill bidding and violation of eBay terms. Of course they had a "good" experience, all they had to do to recieve the product was walk down their hallway to this guys bedroom. I sent an email stating that I knew they lived together and the IP addresses from his and his roommates emails were identical and I was going to foward it to the FBI who handles all internet crimes as well as Western Union for wire Transfer fraud. After not hearing from this guy for weeks, I got an email back in fifteen minutes saying "Your money will be in the mail tommorrow". Hows that?

heres what i sent him through a PM:
hey Luis, whats going on here??
ive asked you numerous times for the tracking information on the product that ive already paid you for and you never get back to me...ive also emailed you numerous times but get no response...yesterday, i tried to email you twice but your inbox was over-quota and i couldnt get those through to you...youve been online since my PMs / emails and replies to your threads and i know that youve read them...im just trying to get the product that ive paid you for...if you dont plan on selling or shipping the product to me, then please just be truthful about it and let me know, followed by refunding the money to me (no hard feelings)
i am a Moderator on 7thGenCivic.com, i do have access to your information from when you joined as well as your up-to-date information which includes your IP address
*i will be giving you until 6-20-2004 to produce either the product that i paid for, or a VALID tracking number, otherwise i will be reporting this issue to PayPal and 7thGenCivic.com*
