I got a sweet deal on the new rockford 6.5 speakers so i bought them. I opened up the box to find that these are some big speakers. What I was hoping was if someone could tell me if these are:
1. Able to be installed without ripping my door apart.
2. Worth the effort of ripping the door apart because I haven't heard them yet. They retail for 199.99, come with 2 tweeters, and I paid like 50.
3. Any tips on installing these monsters. ( Best Buy sold me some 1/2 inch spacers, but I cant pretty much guarantee it won't be enough.

got a model number on them? and yes, the door panel will have to come off to access them, takes maybe 5 minutes to remove, if not less.

P162S, and its not removing the door that i have the problem with, its the fact that these speakers are like almost 4 inches deep, and the stock ones are barely an inch. I was just wondering if anyone had similar experiences with deep speakers in their doors so i could try to install them with out cutting the metal
