Ok guys....which would you pick?
check it out a friend of a friend has a 2001 honda S2000 and wants me to install a pioneer head unit, two front infinity speakers, and a six disc pioneer changer in it......all for approximately $350.....the only problem is if i run into problems......like it seems like an easy install.....but i really dont want to run into problems w/ a car such as this......so i dont know exactly what to do.....do i do the install knowing there could be problems.....or do i say to the guy that he should take it somewhere......what would you do?!?!

unless they're components you're putting in, i don't see how hard it could be
but if the guy has a nice sports car, why the hell would he not just take it to a shop? we've all slipped up and scratched something with a screwdriver, or broken a few pop bolts. i wouldn't want to be the one to do it in a nice car...

that is exactly my dilemma.......do i do it knowing i could mess up a car like that.....and he trusts me and i trust myself its just a matter of if i'll mess anything up or if there will be complications w/ something........cuase i've never worked on an s2000 before.....hmm.....
S2000's are nice but they really aren't any different than any other Honda. Same interior materials, same door panel mounts, nothing that special at all. For the Infinities though you'll most likely need a couple of spacers in the door or you could simply cut out the factory baskets. Go with 6 1/2" speakers and it should sound great.
For the deck you can use a harness and you can ISO mount it in the factory location. Just make sure he doesn't want some funky motorized faceplate or it may not clear the bottom of the dash when it flips open.
Changer is easy enough too since there are a couple of openings in the rear side panels to pull wires.
12" sub enclosure can be built in the spare tire well that will sound pretty good too.
