205-55's will be a little bit fast on the tach and the odo, but 205-60's will be a little slow. Whats better? Less milage on the 60's.

well when driving by a cop do you want your speedo to read oh say 45 in a 45, but really you are doing 53, and you get pulled over. Or would you rather drive past the cop and your speedo says you are going 45 but really you are going 40.5 and not get pulled over?

Who knows basic math here?
At 100 MPH, your speedo would either read 101 or 98. Anything less than that would generate less of a difference. Considering a speedometer is NOT the precise instrument you think it is, it would make no difference at all.
Most factory speedometers are off by 1-3% anyways.

^^ with shorter tires then stock you will be at a Higer RPM for any given MPH vs stock, and the opposite happens if you go with a taller then stock tire.

My Street tires are something like .9% taller then stock, big deal...

My race tires are along the lines of being 6% shorter then stock... and that is a big deal.

It's not going to say 45 if you're going 53 if it's only 1-2% off.

Saying 53 when you're actually going 45 would be a speedometer that is 18% too fast.

I would be more concerned about the increased mileage reading if you plan on selling the car soon and already have high mileage like I do.
