SF Fuel System or Fuel return line?

OK I have been thinking about this for the whole day today and I need your guys/girls help. Should I buy the SF fuel system or should I do a return fuel line? In the long run I plan to get a Turbo Cam, and Pistons, rods.

HyaBoosta will become famous soon enough
depending on the kind of numbers you want to make in the long run you probably will need the return set up(if your wanting to go higher than 300hp)

correct me if i am wrong but isn't the sf fuel system just an inline fuel pump attached to a vortech fmu.

it is a inline fuel pump connected to a fmu, htownboy can tell you how exacly it works, but it simulates a return line fuel system, the little "piston" inside the fmu acts as a falve to let more fuel to be pushed into the engine by the extra fuel pump, the valve is controled by vac/boost pressure, if your wanting big numbers i would go return, if your planing to run no more than 12psi i would go with sf and alcy injection, it realy depend on your needs, me personaly i dont plan on running no more than 5-6lbs, ive been thinking of custome fabricating one of those sf kits for myself, it would be way cheaper than 600 bones,

IMO I'd go return. It costs about the same and gives you a much better system to start off with. Once someone comfirms the injector theory you will be set.

What needs to be done:

- Modify fuel rail to accept fuel return line
- Upgrade stock fuel pump located in the gas tank
- Bypass FPR in the gas tank
- Run return line back to tank from modified fuel rail
- Use aftermarket FPR (I recommend Aeromotive) and set to stock fuel pressure

opto_isolator can probably offer you a more detailed DIY but this is the basics. If you are not mechanically inclined or don't feel comfortable with doing it yourself take your car somewhere and get an estimate. This process is not a big deal for a true mechanic.

I am not that mechaniclly inclined but with my 2 Buddys that always help me with every project that I do to the car. IE Nitrous install, dual purge, VAFC II, Ported Head..
