Someone chipped/dented my door.. can i do anything about it?
When i came out to my car,a POS 80s 4runner was parked next to me, and i found a chip and dent on my door, and it aligned perfectly with their door.. same color, same height, and it was parked a half foot away from me. i wrote down the license plate, you guys think i can make them pay for it? i took pictures of the vehicle with my cell phone (my good camera is in the shop)
You should have tell the driver of the 4 runner before he gets away. Last time someone dented my gf's accord and he paid us $80 in cash right away lol~ it's going to be harder to process all these stuffs through court... If you decide not to get $ from them I would suggest to use the following products that might help you.
1. Ding King (or similar products that makes dent smaller or gone)
2. Touch up paint (Wouldn't make it back to original but better than nothing)
3. Silver color cure (turtle tax brand I think...Does a really good job to cure as much as it could)

To be honest I don't think you'll be able to get the money from him since there is no longer an evidence avalible. If this kind of things happened again in the future, you should stay at the position where you are at and call the police immediately since they can be witnesses for you.
