1972 dodge challenger for sale, bay area

This is a 1972 dodge challenger, black with red stripes that I have owned for 5 years. I am selling it because I have finally decided I don't have the time or money to finish a project like this.

It's got a 318 that was built by Bayshore racing, with an Iskenderian cam, ported and polished heads, fully blueprinted and balanced, all new internals, new water pump, starter, carter street fuel pump, new belts, new (huge) radiator, Edelbrock valve covers, Weind intake manifold, Edelbrock electric choke carb (less than 6 months old), Mopar performance electronic ignition (less than 6 months old), Mopar performance headers hooked into 3 inch pipes with purple hornies. The motor has probably got less than 4000 miles on it, and many thousands invested, redlining at about 6500 RPM.

The motor is hooked to a 904 tranny which was rebuilt about 1 month after the motor, which runs to a 8 3/4" rear end. She sits on Cragar Street Stars with Hoosier radials on the back, and Firestone Firehawks in front. The shocks (KYB in front and air shocks in back) are less than 6 months old, and the front end has been completely rebuilt, including the power steering box being replaced very recently (3 months). The front brakes have new rotors, bearings, seals, and pads (3 months old).

On the interior, there is a grant steering wheel, autometer tach w/shift light, and cd player. The headliner was replaced a few years ago.

The bad parts of the car (I like being up front); there is a dent in the drivers side quarter panel, the interior should be reupholstered (small tears), and there is a small amount of rust around the rear of the windshield and the front roof mounts. I have spent at least 20k on this car, and it needs very little to be finished. I just want to see it go to a good home, price is firm. 408-373-0733
