i'm replacing my oem power steering fluid with redline fluids, but i don't know how many quarts i need to buy

i have a 2003 civic. the oem fluid boil when i road race

wait wait....boil as in....when u look at the p/s resevior the water level goes up and down / up and down.......water wave kinda style?

No, its boil as in over heat the fluid to the point where it boils, like water. It happens with brake fluid too, but boiling the P/S fluid is Much Rarer.


usafstud, I'm sure your local Honda dealership could tell you how much fluid is in the P/S system. Just dont tell them what you were doing.....

16 ounces, 0.5 quart is what the honda dealer told me for a reflush

redline ps bottle is 1 quart
