well, i know that there would be at least 5 ppl that would be interested. But i doubt they will waste thier time on our POS D17's. But i am interested........if it does happen, they better do it b4 the AEM stand-alone comes out.

If they can do what they did with the RSX (ala the K-Pro) - than I'd be down. If they just do a reflash, than I don't know if its worth it. The K-pro beats the AEM hands down for the RSX - its the stock ECU that you can program.....

Just get them to make something that fits in the stock ECU box. If it puts up numbers and doesn't cost something obscene, I'll buy the damn thing. I'm allowed to mess with that I don't care if I can re-program it if they can program it for me ahead of time and make it work.

No - the K-Pro is a complete replacement ECU. It is a direct install. You can hook your laptop up to it and tune it completely (including where it goes open loop AND for larger injectors - GREAT for turbo!!).

See here:

http://www.hondata.com/kprorelease.html

Its expensive (around $1000) but its FULLY programmable, AND works with the multiplex unit in our car - which means that ALL of the stock options and features still work (like immobilizer, etc)...

Well IMO, $1,000 is well worth it, especially if you are running boost. So, is there any hardwiring? How easy of a install is this?

Agent9 should not be trusted
i've emailed them (actually about 2 weeks ago) and they told me they dont do custom work.
so if more than like 20 ppl would buy it, it wouldnt be considered custom then right?

That post is BS - the guy can't even talk right, and he only has 30 posts or so - he probably doesn't know what he's talking about. The S200 is for OBDI ECUs, that's why they did something completely different for the RSX - its OBDII.....I think the guys at hondata would know how their product works....

I doubt they will care what we ask. I have asked a bunch of times and a bunch of people have asked on Hondatas website forum. If they do, I will buy one. Doesn't AEM have a program out for us?

And yes, trust me, if the S200 worked for our rides as well Hondata would market it for us.

Not only does the price have to be right but I want to know what it will do for my car! Let's not all jump on the wagon until we find out what it will do! Hondata will actually prove their gains for us too if they make it.

Hondata, is a proven company. This is not even a question of performance, just a question of will they make it or not.
