'Mile'age
Though I do enjoy my upgrade from the 93 Corolla I used to have visually, I am still wondering about the mileage I'm getting from it (what with these low gas prices
At the moment, I seem to be only getting ~300 kms per tank doing aggressive (suburban) city driving. Meaning speeds of roughly 80+ in 50 zones (and/or 30 zones), hard brakes and hard accelerations.. Now I know that type of driving will affect my total distance, it still very
why I'm getting that low. I got roughly the same distance out of the Corolla and it had a hell of a lot more kilometers on it.
Car has undergone a dealer tune-up (sparks replaced - timing belt is to be done soon) .. two oil changes since I've owned it .. air filter replaced .. It is an automatic transmission (yes I know I should have gone Manual - stupid dad hooked me up with the good deal on the damaged vechile (little did I know he didn't listen to the manual request ("This way we can also drive it..."))

Try driving less "aggressive" for just one tank and see what happens. Then you will know ifs its your driving or your car.
BTW, you're going to have bigger problems than mileage if you keep going 80+ in a 50 zone.

110k kms on the car atm .. picked it up with 98k early Feb..
No speeding tickets yet (been driving like a maniac for a few years now - know majority of speed traps location and am very watchful) .. as for wear and tear, do bleed through tires and brakes, but well one of the 'joys' of driving that way
** Only one stop sign ticket (because I was in a rush to get home after work and didn't pay enough attention
- but that is more than a year ago)
And we'll see about less agressive stance - as I'm not working next week so I'll chill around. But I already feel like its not going to do that much :/
