the silver around the A/C, the WHOLE SILVER THING!

JUST RIP IT OUT! it has clips....pull str8 out....
get a flat head screwdriver, put a towel on the end to pry it out....
try not to damage the DASH, IT WILL DAMAGE THE DASH if you do it wrong.....

pry it out with the tips of your fingers.....

BE CAREFUL, dont rip it out that much that you will pull the wires out of the A/C controls, and the Head Unit controls....

BE CAREFUL!

yea the power outlet piece comes out with just clips, then you reach up under it and there are two screws... use a small screwdriver to get them, then the whole chunk just comes right out on clips.

take out the cig lighter plate and look up you'll see two 8mm / phillips head screws. take them out and then pull on the dash piece. it is tough and in my experience your going to loose atleast 1-2 clips

DUDE yes there are 2 screws under the whole assembly that you have to yank the power outlet to get at, and man are they hard to turn. They seemed tighter than the header bolts

My car didn't have those 2 screws. I've always been able to pull it out with no problem.

I think for the 2003 civics, u have to take out the centre console (the place where your shifter is) inorder to reach the screws that lead to the dash.
