on a 7thgen?

go ahead and get rid of the manifold, and maybe the piping. the piping might work if you recut them.

the turbo will will work with the right manifold and flange (i assume its a mitsubishi), you may have to get new oil lines if yours aren't long enough, not sure how well the injectors will fit, but that may take some work too.

IMO Not worth it. Put another 500 with what you'd spend on that kit and go custom. I say this because I think you are trying to go cheap and you are going to end up spending more. Think about the main components of a turbo kit.

Manifold
Fuel Management
Piping
Turbo

Can you use anything listed above besides the turbo from this kit? Big risk but hey it's your money.

ur going to spend 3k on that kit, and have to buy another manifold, DP and intercooler piping, unless u mangle the existing, bc the brackets to mount will be way off, the injectors wont fit, the downpipe wont travel right around the engine,

DONT WASTE UR MONEY

I'm not too sure why you are trying to adapt this kit into our cars... Looks to not be very cost efficient.... ECU, piping, injectors, manifold, etc etc.... Save the money and buy an existing kit for 7thgens, or custom make one....

LOL... why must you all ***** up my thread on why i shouldn't do it... first off lemme clear this with all of you... the kit is brand new I'm getting it for $750.... so please don't worry i'm not gonna be wasting money and then i can also sell of the parts like the Manifold, Injectors, Downpipe... I am having my 3" full turbo-back exhaust put on practically for free from my friend who owns and exhaust shop, also having him help with with the custom install... he has built many upon many custom kits for many many many various applications.... i was just wondering what exactly i would need to buy extra to make the parts i keep from the Greddy kit to work... IE: 7thgen Custom Mani, 7thgen upgraded injectors, and it comes with Greddy Profec-B for the engine management...

I'm buying this from a friend who had it on the car for a month, now needs to pay bills, getting rid of it for cheap, and he had bought all the extra nice things the kit needs... ex: Greddy Type-S BOV, Profec-B fuel management... what else is needed?

Newsflash, the GReddy Profec B is a boost controller not a means of fuel management. The Profec doesn't even know what fuel is.

Buy the kit for 750 and resell the entire kit to raise money for yours.

bad idea... do none of you have any creativity... ok my bad I apologize... the profec-B is a boost controller... but the guy always has the E-manage with the kit... it would be a total waste to resell when i can do the same thing... and custom, Aka. not the same darn thing that everyone else and there mom has on their 7thgen turbo cars.... besides the Greddy TD04-19T will boost a help of a lot more than the turbo's used by SF Power and the other 7thgen kits "stock" anyday... thanks for all ur help though anywayz

You asked for people's opinions, got them, and then didn't want them....

Also, there are multiple threads out right now for custom turbo kits and what parts are needed.......
