Lowered people! What do you do about speed bumps?
For everyone thats lowered out there, what do you guys do about unavoidable speed bumps/hills/inclines/declines? How much are you dropped and what kind of ground clearance do you have. I've got 205/40/17, tsunami front, xenon sides and rear, and I'll be dropping on Neuspeed Sports tomorrow. If I scrape everywhere I can take them out no problem, but I'd really like to keep them in. So what does everybody do about these things?

I take the speed bumps really slow, and I have a 1.75" drop without any lip kit or anything on 205/40/16's. It's actually my center pipe that gets dinged once and awhile.
Hell I'm not even dropped (yet) and I hit my B-pipe on my TCS all the time...fu(kin' thing hangs a little too low, but I love everything else about it so i'm not gonna change...you just have to go slow and angles become your friend

I have about a 1.75" drop with 17's and I either go RREEEAAAALLLLYYY slow or find another way. I went down a steep decline a couple weeks ago and messed my magnaflow catback up, had to get a new mid-pipe.

go slow or avoid em if at all possible.
I made a skid plate for my tcs mid pipe. I was afraid that i was going to wear a hole in it.

I go at an angle, and usually I can get out of scraping. I also gave up going into people driveways and going to certain restaurants.
Im dropped about 2.25" with 205/40/17 and a full Tsunami kit. The side skirts and my mid pipe (which on the Tanaba SRM hangs really low also) are what scrape. The huge cannister of the Tanabe scrapes like hell alot too but you just get over it. Its stainless steel and its underneath, so I try to just not worry about it.

I'm dropped on Neuspeed Race and don't have a kit yet, but a lip kit is coming soon hopefully. I usually don't scrape that much, you just have to relearn how to drive and how to hit bumps. If I do scrape it's usually just my exhaust but there are some speed bumps I hit that will scrape down the length of the car no matter what kind of angle i take. It's all about learning where the bad bumps are and how to take them. Being able to spot them from a distance helps too so you can avoid them. There is nowhere in my town I can't go, just have to **** people off once in a while by taking up the entire entrance when it's really steep.

i put it in neutral and get out the car and push it at an angle over the speedbump..
jk lol, im lowered about 2" ish front and 1.7ish rear with skunk2 coilovers w/stock shocks. i usually go at an angle anywhere, doesnt matter how huge the bump or pothole is, unless its just like a dip or sumthin real small from view. since my car is lowered to the front more then rear, its hard to drive during night because my headlights are facing downward more and that means i dunno if theirs a pothole or bump ahead of me on the freeway and street.. =| i mostly scrape my OEM side skirt and its only attached with screws n strong tape.. =\ i have stock exhaust so im not worrying about that stuff.

I'd love to attach some kind of skit plate to the front underside of my car. You know those carbon fiber lips? I'd like to make one out of aluminum that tucks underneath my bumper - so I can hit speed bumps with no worries.
Taking them sloooooooooooooooooooow or at an angle is usually the best way. Most of the time the angle trick can't be done, so I've been taking it slow...

No really though, when I had GC's I would go at an angle or just plan ahead and avoid them.
