Regarding 7th gen civic's suspension similarities

Does anyone know if all the 7th gen civic shares the same suspension? i mean the sedan (ES), coupe (EM), 3 door hatch (EP) & the 5 door hatch (EU)? are the springs or coilovers interchangable? I have an EU & its very hard to find suspension that is listed as for 'EU' Civic, so if they are the same then it would be a lot more easier to know what to look for..

All sedans, hatches and coupes share the same components.

However spring rates will be different because of the weight differences between the three models.

The spring lengths between the hatches and the coupes and sedans alike are different as well.

Since you have a 5 door hatch the Ep3 suspension will probally fit your model.

All the EP components should interchange. Any full coilover will interchange. Any fixed height system will NOT cross over. EP stuff is EP stuff and won't work right in the EM/ES. 03 and on have larger front crash bolts as well. Since the EU is just an EP with back doors, I would say that EP stuff goes right in... an ES is really just an EM with back doors (or visa versa). The hatch has shorter rear stuff than the coupe/sedan and longer fronts. With an adjustable system, you can work it all out, but if its fixed height, you can't.

the susp. on the ctr is different as well. That susp. is tuned for racetracks, with stiffer springs, probally lightweight susp. components, and thicker swaybars.
