neuspeeds . . .
i know most have been answerd on "Neuspeed Sport or Race Springs w/18"s?"
please don't blast, i just need to make sure on my part so i don't f-up.
i am trying to decide (still) between sport and race.
i have 17" rims w. 215-40-17 tires
-i know sport is a 1.75f and 1.5r . . . approx. how many fingers are the gap space between the tire and the fender?
-race is 2.25f and 2.0r . . . do i need to roll the fender, or it won't rub regardless? does it make it up speed bumps?
i goto ny every weekend and once in a while there are those bumps that are un-avoidable. . . if i hit em hard i do not want to bottom out . . .
i currently have h&r and i'm sad to say that i am disappointed with the drop. 1.3 is no good for me. i purchased h&r's with the knowledge of it being 1.75, invoice says it all but then i realized that it's infact 1.3. that was my bad did not search properly. my goal is to have a real clean/noticable drop like (vnlilman - such a sexxy ride by btw). . . all the help, advice, and comments would be well appreciated . . . thanks

with 17's go with Neuspeed Race.
I have 205/40/17 w/ Neuspeed Sport and the drop isn't enough. About 2 finger gaps in front and like 1.5 in back. If only I had 18"s or a kit it would look better.

With the tires you have now, you probably will rub ur rear tires with neuspeed race if u get ur camber corrected. you may even rub with neuspeed sports with that tire size. I had 215/45/17 tires with neuspeed sport drop and they rubbed when i got my rear camber corrected. I have 205/40/17 and i like the gap its only bout 1 finger or 2 but it looks nice. If u want the tucked look ur gonna have to get different tires or it may depend on ur wheel offset.

the sidewalls of the 215/40's would be a little thicker thant he 205/40. With the Sports you shouldn't rub. I don't know about Race though. I mean many members on this site have 2" drops and 215/40 and I think its cool.
hey DaSilverCivic....
how does ur H&R's drop look like? mine is koo except that the left side is a lil lower than the right...are urs like that too?
i've heard of other member rides having this too, i jus wanted to get a point of view from somebody who has H&R's

yea mine is a bit lower on the left as well, i'm **** so it bother's the shiat out of me. most people who have h&r has that problem too. my rear seems to be lower than the front too. i dunno if that is to blown shocks. . . . my drop is ok. i'm not really satisfied with it, i kind of want a lower drop thats why i'm leaning towards neuspeeds. your drop is 1.3 too right?

haha thanks, didnt even read this till now...
I dunno, i personally like my cars slammed. in my pics its only the sports(1-1.5 finger gap all around), I got the race afterwards and I LOVED the drop. It was no gap all around. BUT only thing was i would bottom out a lot. Keep in mind I have 215-40-18s which are exactly 1" bigger than your 17s. I didnt have any problems rubbing at all. The rear, mainly cause ya i didnt have a camber kit. Its easy to fix tho, and shouldnt stop you from slamming your car tho. You can easily roll your fenders or just put slight negative camber. just enough so that it doesnt rub.
How much gap do you have with the h&rs? 3 finger? with the sports you might have like 2 with the race maybe .5-1. If you get the sports, chances are your going to want to go even lower. But then for anything lower i recommend you get new shocks, thats why i went with hayames. i'm now dropped at 2.5"(blah on stock 14s). Want to go even lower but
i scrape at work even when going sideways. But ya even if you get the race, you'll be able to clear speedbumps. Just make sure you go sideways cause one time i didnt see one and it went wa-BAM right ontop of the damn thing.. didnt feel too good...

Race is the way to go. VNlilMAN had me convinced me to get them and I love them. Now the decision for me is to keep them and get konis or get the Hayame's so I can go even lower.
I have the neuspeed race springs with 215/40's and there rubbing in the rear like crazy. I have to roll my fenders today before i **** up my new tires. I also have konis, and there as stiff as possible, and it still rubs every once in a wile.
