Question Best Wheel & Tire size to go with Turbo

Hey, maybe this post should have gone to the wheels section, but since all the FI guys are here so I thought I'd post this up here. I just want opinions as to what wheel and tire size is perfect for a boosted (SF kit) 2002 civic that would be used for:

Normal daily driving
Weekly Drag racing (on the street)
A bit of street racing with sharp turns etc.
NO Track use

I was thinking of some light weight 16s (maybe OZs) with 205/60 or 215/55

?

i chose 15x7 5zigens, they weigh about 14lbs each. i kept stock diameter cuz i hear 17s slow down your accleration. i also picked yokohama es100's (205/50-15) for the tires, with this set up its a night and day difference over stock wheels and tires.

I personally like my 17's better. The acceleration is literally almost the same as my Si wheels. But with the added traction down bottom it definately helps to demote wheel spin.

That and tire selection. I just put my second set of parada spec-2s on, and damn do those things stick like glue... 215/40/17. Look into that man, I'm very please with mine.

I'd go w/15's or 16's to be honest. Light weight preferably. Cheapest light weight and nice lookin wheels out there are Rota's.

yep, rotas are affordable, wide enough to accomodate performance tires, and fairly light weight, even in bigger sizes like 17 and 18

Do yours last I wore out a set pretty fast like almost a summer, now i'm riding on the AVS ES 100 they pretty good I think I'm gonna switch to falkens soon. If you want 15's go for 15x7 I have 15x6.5 I find them a lil to skinny but at 8.6lbs a wheel I can't complain

Thanks guys, however due to my location I dont think I have a very wide choice among wheels. However, I am gonna go for the lightest (and cheap) wheels.

About the size, I have a choice between 15 and 16. Most of you seem to prefer 15? 17s would look great but they are a lil on the expensive side, and might also effect the fuel consumption for daily driving...

And the tire size, should I get 205 or 215 ..... cant make up my mind?
