Lost my keys!

As some of you know I got in a wreck over a month ago.

Well this morning my uncle called me and said he needs to use my spare keys because my car locked with the keys in it (I have an alarm)

He's been repairing my car, and had the battery unplugged, and when he plugged it back in the car locked.

Well earlier this week my mom left for Saudi Arabia, to live with he hubby who works out there. Well in a bag next to the door of her old condo were my spare keys and spare remote for my alarm...I think one of them threw out the bag before they left and didn't tell me. I went to the trash bins today and they were empty....I'm so pissed. And I have no way of getting a hold of my mom because she has yet to give me a phone number and/or e-mail address to reach her!

I hope they know where it is, kuz I don't want to have to go through the hassle of cutting more keys and getting a new remote...

just call AAA or something and have them open the door, then you can get your key out

I don't have AAA. I was on my mom's account before she moved and learned the hard way I was cancelled...been to busy to get another account opened. Plus the car is at my uncle's shop, they can break into it, or call a locksmith

I'm just pissed kuz now some butthead could have the spare keys to my car...

You'd be suprised....my uncle said not to worry about it he'd call some of his tow truck buddies and locksmith guys.....

took 4 diff. tow truck companies, and 1 locksmith befor they managed to slim jim the car successfully...car was locked from 7am-4:30pm.

Plus it was at his shop....I had no intention of driving out there for no reason. DIY nothin.

All the tow truck drivers said our civics are the hardest to slim jim....that makes me happy, but you can still break the window.

Not that hard. I do it to my civic all the time since its just sitting in the garage waiting to be fixed. Youd be surprised how easy it is to get in, esp pop the hood and disconnect the battery so no alarm. . .
