what to buy under $500

hey guys. im planning to lower my car end of this month. i got $500 to spend. i havent done research on any product yet. so i want your guys BEST ADVICE on what to purchase. i want something that wont blow up after 50 miles on the road, and something that will give me a nice smooth ride (if possible). and if possible i dont want to keep my stock shocks.

please help a noob.

for that amount just get some haymes, if you have double that, get the tein SS dampers, some people are compairing the SS to the Haymes... i love my SS's it feels like im gliding on air....

^^^ rarly, i can't start to tell you how much better this ride is compared to a stock suspention, i hit a big bump and its like there wasn't even a bump there, and im on 18's, its like im floating over the road
