is it easy to install an aem cai on my lx. this might sound like a dumb question but bare with me. do i have to take off the bumper or anything of that nature . my air box is already off because i have a cheap generic ram intake.

nope, just follow the instrustions on the diy or in the book. I found the book to be a bit confusing, especially when installing the new bracket, but after it was done, i was happy. You really will feel like an Idot once you install it and realize it wasnt that hard. I know I did
