48 L???????? Sounds like a crooked gas station to me!
I've driven for days with the fuel light on and only put in 46 litres max.

honda civics have a fuel capacity of 50 Litres...
DX SE LX Si
Fuel Capacity (L) 50 50 50 50

thats copied and pasted from honda.ca under the civics specifications, sub heading EXTERIOR / INTERIOR DIMENSIONS. it displays the civic's fuel capacity. the SiR also has a 50 litre capacity, and the coupe and sedan civics all have the same capacity.

^^^ exactly what i was gonna say. we havea 50L gas tank
i usually drive with the gas light on also..... my limit is usually 100km more after the light has come on, depending on the conditions of the weather and how hard i drive my car.

the light usually comes on around 35L to 40L.
if you're still pushing it.... good way to know that you're definitely almost out of gas is when you hear your car having a lil' struggle when trying to get started. haha... that's when i usually boot to the gas station asap. lol

^^ what do you mean? only understood that part where you said you put in 48L.

oh, haha. thx

in that case.. i've filled up at, at least 48L twice.. dont know the exact number

usually at around 43L to 45L i would fill up at though

it's like, i like to tempt how much further i can push my gas tank each time

edit: i rarely go over 550km's a tank... so im basically averaging 1L for every 10km's <--- roughly.
and this is summer driving......

in winter, im hardly over 450km a tank
