I do not reccomend this canyon for people who don't want to Fvck up their cars... BELIEVE ME your car needs to be in PRISTINE condition to run this... be warned. Lets just say some of the turns involve the steering wheel to be fully turned in one direction

LOL your car does not have to be in pristine condition if you dont run it hard. Your car can be in good running condition, but doesnt have to be in pristine condition. DJ02 has been through on shitty tires and he hit the canyon at a good speed and was alright. Its all driver. Being local to the area my friends run it almost every night and not worry. I even ran that road and I suck at driving. Decker is a fun road as long as you drive at your own pace and not drive like an Ahole. Guys from Slide Squad are locals to this run and many others. This run is only as hard as you make it. A late night run would be recommended. Cops still hang out till pretty late on decker.

Ahhh decker
yea I've been trough it on bald *** tires and a rear blown shock. I did a lil slideing but I'm very experinced when it comes to some carveing its a very fun canyon. Ppl on there first time should take it slow and see what u can do. And rember this does take a toll on brakes and ur cluch I never got out of 2nd well for a quick second I did but its pretty much brake cluch 1st and 2nd. If u run it like I do like a mad man hahahahaha ull get to smell ur cluch at the bottom. Speaking of wich derek when we going to run it again got my new tires new rear sway and tie. Hahaha but still have the blown shock. But soon I will be a real sick sticking machine

Yeah, sure you can run it in MEDIOCRE CONDITIONS, but its not ideal, and it may cause you your life. Some of my friends LOST 100% braking pressure at the end, and one of them broke his rear end link, not to mention plumes of white smoke was pouring out of my front wheels. BE VERY FVCKING careful. Lock-to-lock steering at moderate speeds can't be very good for your car..

People will always take the chance in the canyons if you do make sure your car is desighned for such things and you are a skilled driver. As you noticed some turns taken. This was an auto civic so downshifting isnt an option to much, its right foot gas left brake and the occasional d1, d2.
I am working on my SCCA membership and racing license. I will be racing with my dad and his vette at California speedway in Fontana. Hopefully I will get my civic registered after I boost and will be able to run the whole track too.
Need to roll cage it though i am estimating by next summer I will have everything I feel is best suited..
Take care guys, glad you guys know this run well! it is very popular.
its all about the show! and go!

First off I never said I was a good driver. Sure attention to the well being of your car is essential, but to run this canyon I am saying it wont freakin matter. I can drive a geo metro through but I'm not gonna push the freaking car. Ill drive the car to what is safe and what my abilitys are. I agree with you on the bald tires Mango, but in Vinnies case like he said his steel was showing and I should of mentioned that.
If you read my whole previous post USAFSTUD you would have gotten the impression that I am a safe driver. Most drivers on this site will hit their own driving skill limits before they would hit the limits of their own car pending upon what kind of set up they have.Safe driving is what I was trying to promote, but I guess my engrish can improve. Sorry for the GED skills. USAFSTUD no grudge just wanted to get my point across. I share your feelings for the ability of the drivers on this site, but I'm sure a majority drive safely, lets hope.
If people paid attention to the feel of their breaks and notice a really mooshy feel they should slow the heck down, but if they decide to drive recklessly and not pay attention then thats their problem.
I also agree that you should know and trust the ppl you ride with. Vinnie lets run when I get my new car. My car is back to stock right now and rides like a boat so if we go I go bery slow like last time lol
Drive safe so we dont hit the poor bunnys and skunks.

Another tip.. the first time on a particular canyon, go slow. One time I rushed latigo canyon my first time, and understeered like a mother into a dirt pile going no less than 50MPH
