For those who think traffic officers have to meet a qouta

Under Vehicle Code Section 41602 it prohibits the use of a quota system by any law enforcement agency, and 41603 precludes reliance on an officers citation totals for promotion or discipline

There u go hope that clears things up for people

There is no quota, but they are supposed to be able to witness a citation worthy offense every hour they work. Straight from a cop's mouth. The shortstop on my softball team.
