Deal on 50pk CD-R spindle at Fry's
Just wanted to let you guys know that I bought a 50 pack spindle of CD-R's for $7! Tax was $.58 for a grand total of $7.58! Thants 15 cents a CD which is not too shabby...
Its the GQ (a.k.a. Great Quality) brand 80 min (700mb) and they work with 1-52x burners... they work perfectly fine with my burner...
This was last sunday (feb 29th) at the Fry's in City of Industry at Crossroads Pkwy off the 60....
Sooo, I don't know how long this sale will last, but they did say limit 1 per customer but I might go back this weekend to get another pack... lolz... i need to burn all my anime cuz theres no more space on my HDD...

eh i had badd experience with GQ. Its like imation, the top starts to peel off and such and the cds get messed up quick.
I think i bought my 100pack of memorex for $5 last time with rebate at best buy. If you look in the sunday paper they have a lot of sales like 50 for $5 or some even free after rebate. I have a dvd burner if you want to watch those anime's on tv

cuz it sounds to me like u don't quite take care of them if the top peels off like that

cuz i've never had that happen to me before... i put my CD's back into their respective places after each use...
and do you really want to go through the trouble of mailing in a rebate and waiting 6-8 weeks for $5?
and yea, those are good deals at best buy, but last time i went, they were already all gone...

It just sucks when I had important info on the crappy cdr's and i couldnt read it because they got messed up. ya i think i need to take better care of them.

Hey, those small rebates add up!!! My old neighbor got me saving em. What you do is just put em in your savings and let em add up. She saved up all her "small" rebates up for 2.5 or so years, and had $600 bucks. Not too shabby!!!
