well i was driving home from my friend's house yesterday at around 12 at night...this was goin down 91 west...i was about to exit lakeview...i started switching lanes so i could exit and all of a sudden my car is doing a 180...i was going below speed limit since it was raining...it was just crazy...the first thing i thought about was to turn my car around so i don't get hit by oncoming traffic...i got it to do another 180...i gained a little bit of control but then the wheels gave away again and i started sliding towards a big ol' ditch...well i ended up jumpin my car down the ditch...the front end is pretty much gone...the metal part by the grille is pulled up so the engine is sitting in an awkward position...its just crazy how all this happened...some guys pulled over and checked if i was ok...5 minutes later a 1987 jeep rolled over right behind me and ended up in the same ditch...the CHP were just being asses...they said its all our fault and stuff...after that they tried to see if my car was running or not...3 officers got together and played rock paper scissors to decide who would drive my car...its so ****in childish...so i warn u guys...just watch out when it is raining...that lil stretch between imperial hwy exit and lakeview exit is horrible...a lot of cars lose control there...well i hope you guys don't have to go through what i went through...i hope the car doesn't have much damage...i don't know whether i should go through insurance or not because i don't want them to raise my rates...just take care guys...thanks

I doubt it, since no one was hurt in the accident. My friend rolled his pre runner not too long ago, he was being stupid, they totalled it out and paid him, so as long as no one else was involved, it should be fine.

yea, they will most likely raise your premiums a couple hundred bucks a year. but it is easier to go through them rather pay it on your own.

i dont find out for sure what they're going to do with my car until an adjuster goes to the bodyshop where my car is at to check it out.

man i try not to stress but its just crazy how these things happen to the people who don't drive all crazy...i don't think that i'm gonna go through the insurance company because they'll raise the rates like crazy...i'll try to repair as much damage as possible with the money i have

Damn, that's crazy. My g/f lives right off the Imperial exit, my mom works off the Lakeview exit, and I live one exit down at the Weir Canyon/Yorba Linda exit. So I drive through that freeway alot. I better watch out.
