Revo SS with DC Sports Adapter
Revo SS with DC Sports Adapter
Just a thought... is it possible to connect a DC Sports short shift adapter to a revo ss, and would it make the throw shorter.... or would they be redundant?

yeah there was a thread about this a LONG time ago but there was never a definite answer. I tried to do the same thing but I have the first version of the REVO, so the DC didn't fit
There's still a possiblilty with the 2nd version of the REVO

I have a Revo SS new in hand right now, & I can't see how they could mate toregther! I think I might install it tomorrow. Got the Bushing kit & Adaptor pins too, excited. But still waiting on my new P&P head from DH-Racing.
Someone correct me if I am wrong, but in the first version the attachment for the cable was in the stock location so esentially it was just a shorter stick. In the second version they relocated the cable attachment point creating and acutall shorter throw.

The reason why it won't work is becuase the revo changes the shift throw by increasing the distance away from the shift lever that the cables attach too. The dc sports adapter does the same thing, except you mount it lower on the stock lever, having the same effect, so if you attached the dc sports adapter, you would only gain the shorter lenght of the shift level that the revo has into it, but you'd lost the advange I listed above. Lastly, I don't even think there is enough room to mount the adapter.

so first version, which they dont manufacture anymore or sell anymore.. can fit on the DC or any other short shift adapter.
can't do that with the 2nd.
