Cruise SCali ??

Cruise SCali ?? don't know if any know about the Gumball 3000 that happens every year all over the world, basically tons of nice cars drive cross country from one location to the other stoping at hotels parks and other locations for rest.
Well i would like to participate in an event similar to that but i can't take 3 weeks off from work
just to do it. I was wondering if anyone would be interesting in starting some cruising organization or would like to cruise down southern Cali just for the weekend.. maybe from
San Diego to Frisco or from San Diego to Las Vegas....
I live in Riverside so going to the San Diego for this would be a big deal.... Let me know what you guys think about this idea.

Rep Power: 0 that would take more than a weekend chase, i say we try to get a 7thgencivic cruise and make another so cal nor cal meet again, maybe this time it wont flop, maybe we should get jeff topfuel to plan it, his meets have huge turnouts ha ha.

Rep Power: 0 That' would be cool... or from Frisco > San Diego > Vegas (SEMA) or something...... this could be a yearly thing we can do not just for Civics but alot of other people...
Is the HIN in Vegas sometime or some sort of show other then SEMA this year? maybe we can all do that.. =D

Rep Power: 0 There's no HIN in Vegas, but there is an Extreme Autofest planned for vegas. I actually plan on showing in vegas, so it'd be koo to see you guys make a cruise out there. And the timing of the show is pretty good. It's in April or May. I forgot....

Rep Power: 0 Extreme Autofest is May 16 (Sunday) . What we can do is:
Meet Friday (OC location) kick it for a while...
Take off after everyone gets there and drive together
Stop at Barstow or Baker (get some gas/ eat) leave at a certain time
Check into the same hotel or 2 close hotels
Sat >> Drive around Vegas and do another meet then gamble and free day....
Sun >> Leave to the show Spectator or Show
Go home Sun Night or Mond... those anyone have any input, concerns?

Rep Power: 0 well, lets figure when everyone is outta school, or when peeps can get work off. we also need to keep the cost of room and board in mind. we can get special group rates if enough of us go. like i said, i do event coordanating at work for tens of thousands of people, so a small drive like this will be easy. peeps, i wanna do this, let me know what y'all think.
