It's from the Si. When I put the K20A2 Acura motor into my Si, I kept the "Honda" badged cover and put it on my A2 motor. Locating a tranny should be pretty easy and I could help you with that.

When this motor was in my Si, I had AEM CAI, 2.25" mid-pipe & Hondata IM gasket. I never had it dynoed but those mods gave gains that you could feel and appreciate on the "butt dyno". It's a good motor looking for a good home.

"Total shipment cost: $378.95
Quote Reference #: 059250
Please note that shipping from/to a residential location can greatly increase the cost of your shipment. When possible, you should try to ship from/to a commercial location or a terminal. By doing so, we can decrease the cost of your shipment to only $232.95. You can let your agent know when you call if you wish to switch to commercial or terminal shipping."

Of course I know what I have - I did the swap myself. You are right about the intake manifold identifying what the motor is. RSX K20A3's have a different IM. The Si K20A3 and RSX-S K20A2 have the same IM.

K20A3 - Now on ebay - new low price
I put my motor back on ebay with a low reserve -- $1,100.00. Can supply a 5 spd trans for an additional $700.00.

I swapped in an A2 motor and I decided to keep the 5spd b/c I don't run my car on the track or strip. I like the 5spd and felt that the 6spd would just be more shifting around town. I'm very happy with the 5spd and glad I kept it in the car. A friend of mine in Charlotte (Jack Harris at P1auto) wanted a 6spd so I sold it to him - big mistake. If I had kept the 6spd, I think the A3 motor would have sold quickly.
Maybe I need to buy a 6spd just to have a trans to sell with the motor!
If my source for the trans will lower his price (I think he should, really), someone could end up getting the whole package for a great price. If anyone is SERIOUSLY interested, I could call him to try to negotiate a better deal.
Jrock, try www.usatransport.com for a shipping quote. My zip code is 27106. Not sure what the weight would be. I do know the trans weighs about 80lbs. I don't know what the motor weighs - maybe 300?
