vafc2 settings!

im kinda wondering what kinda settings everyone has..

please go through all of them so i have a guideline to set it up

even though every car is different, they react similar to similar settings, i just need a rough tune so i dont spend an assload on dyno tuning

i mean.. its like making a toothpick out of a log with a piece of sandpaper... just need a chainsaw to get close

edit.. next post has some settings that should get everyone in the ballpark

I don't know what those mean yet, but I've got a VAFCII on the way. Thanks for posting those settings. Are they for a stock setup? I know most people don't want to post their own setup and values.

no they wont.. they just tell you how to adjust things, but like fly said before he locked this thread, all cars are different, and you need to dyno tune to perfect

basically this thread is intended to get in the ballpark so taht you dont end up spending like $300 at the shop getting it dyno tuned

this will get you in the area of where you want to be to feel some difference

Is it better to go to an Apex place and get them to tune it? I've heard it's hard to find the locations.

maybe where you live...

its more expensive where i live because the facilities are harder to find, and their rates are much higher because they are like the only ones in town that will do that

It costed me $200+ because the place had to make a bung in my exhaust for the air/fuel monitoring. I would post my settings, but I don't have time to do it with work and school...

My Vtec input/output is set on passive mode..This means that the output comes on when the stock vtec input engages...This is the best setting for our vtec systems. All you do is go to the vtec engagement screen in settings and press the button to the right until you see the "****" symbols.

There it is!!! Like I said before...Every car is going to be different, but maybe my settings will help some of you. Don't PM me or respond asking where or how to find the settings and ETC...That's up to you guys. Also, make sure you do not crank up the car when making the adjustments... If Fly or someone else wants to make my post a sticky, go right ahead.
