I called up Downtown Acura to get a price on an RSX Type-S sway bar. Here's the breakdown:
"The price of the spring is $102.87, the stabilizer bushing is $10.34, and
the 2 holders are $8.64 each." - e-mail from rep. at North Town Acura
(Sorry, I can't seem to make the columns lign up)
Product Number...Description.................Quantity..... .Unit Price...Total Price
52300-S6M-A01...SPRING, RR. (19MM)*......1.............$102.87.....$102.87
52306-S6M-A01...BUSH (19MM)*................2.............$10.34....... $20.68
52308-S6M-000...HOLDER, R. RR................1.............$8.64..........$8. 64
52309-S6M-000...HOLDER, L. RR................1.............$8.64...........$8 .64
95701-08018-08.BOLT, FLANGE (8X18).....4.............$0.75............$3.00
TOTAL = $143.83CDN
This same parts list was posted in the FAQ, the total there was $80.25USD. Add shipping (probably about $30CDN), exhange (total = $105.60), possible duty ($???) and headaches of shipping stuff across the border...
Looks like I'm buying mine here in Toronto.

Not a bad price for brand new. If you wanna spend another $30 on top of that you can grab a DC5-R 22mm rear sway with Energy Suspension bushings (comes with holders).....

60 bucks used?
I've heard 20+mm sway bars have too harsh of a ride. Given that this is a Honda OEM part, it's quality is probably much higher than most other ones on sale.
I don't care, I'm going for it in the spring.

It's true the ride gets harsher with a thicker bar but it does with a performance suspension too.
Don't get me wrong though - my 22m is OEM honda too...just in Japan, heh heh.

i got the rsxS sway bar. personally i dont feel any real difference. considering that i have tein's and i can set my suspension from soft to stiff.. but im guessing its a good thing to have.
ive rather get the progress sway bar.. now that is a real upgrade hehe, a bit pricey though in my opinion.

Agreed, Progress seems a little steep, considering what you have on there now. Hey Boo, do you drive your car in the winter? If so: how are they holding up to the snow and slush?
hmm.. yea i drive in the winter with 5 ppl in my car.. almost everyday and i can tell u i pretty much hit any snow/ice boulder on the highway or on the street..
but i wash off the salt off every other week so im guess its ok.. plus its set all the way to its lowest.
and i have changed the stiffness to super soft.. so i dont bounce all the way to the guard rail >,<

Ya, I'm DEFINITELY going to install some Hayames in the spring. One of my front shocks is clunking pretty bad. From what I've heard, this is a common Honda problem. Unfortunately my car has high miles (109K Kms), so it's past warranty. Besides, I want a sportier feel. My last car was a Miata and well - once you've driven one of those anything else will feel like a 1981 Oldmobile Delta-88. Mushy-mushy. I don't expect the same crisp handling, but at least an improvement.
I saw someone on here that was offering an RSX-S sway bar with bushings for 80 bucks CDN. PM's him - hopefully that will go through. Still looking for the best price on wheels. I have snow tires on my stock 15" alloys (I have a 1.7EL). I'm looking at 17"s now - lowest price I can find on a good set of 17s with rubber is around 1500CDN...
