right now i have 5% tints but i plan on rippin them out and getting the light blue tints that u find on mercedes. i think a member has it here on his 7th gen, but i cant find it. can anyone hook me up with pics? thanks

get the 3m tint from the dealer its way better. you also might be able to find a kit that is fitted to your car, if you order

yeah on the mercedes the glass is tinted that light blue color from the factory. i wanted that color too on my civic but oh well.

Its just UV stuff... just like the Civics come lightly green tinted from the factory. Its worked into the glass and I doubt you'll be able to match it with a film.

^^haha yea they do look good. the benz has it colored glass its not window tint. i just want to get my windows slight blue. i dont want it too noticeable.

yep, I wanted that color glass/tint on my car ... but then it probably wouldn't look good on a beige car ... even though I have the rays lugs on my silver wheels ... which kinda stand out ... T_T;;

the blue tint is actually LOW E glass... low energy transfer.. its in the glass and not a coating or film. when they bake the glass they mix in a chemical w/ the glass and it cuases it to have a low energy transfer so that light can come in but the rays that carry heat in dont... it also gives it that blue tint. now.....the blue tint they use on their mirrors is also a mixed in chemical but its totally diff than the windows thats why the mirrors on bimmer etc are sooo mcuh bluer than the windows.
