DH racing PnP + 5.5 psi Dyno

Ok. here is the dyno graph for the Dhracing ported head with 5.5 psi of boost.

The graph that is not complete was at 11 psi, and at 4300 the clutch completely let go and the dyno stopped reading.

With the normal PnP it made 165 whp and 166 ft/lbs on 5.5 psi

Pretty sweet, just a quicm question why did you let off at 5.6k RPMs, did the powerband just die off after there?

The 5.5 psi made 190 whp and 178 ft/lbs. the 11 psi made the 168 and 197 tq.

I let off because the clutch started slipping there as well.

the car makes insane power at the higher rpm's. All the way to the rev limiter. The power never falls off.

Woohoo!! Now all you need is some custom ECU work and to raise the redline to 7500 RPM. Think of the power you would make then. LOL I bet over 210whp at 5.5psi. LOL

Which curve is which? either way it's not great. You can't always stay above 5200 rpm.

Ok, lets put it this way.....

When i hit 4,000 RPM, i am already making 75 whp more than you are at 7,000 rpm. And then i still have 3,000 rpm to go.

You dont find that in any way good?

Very nice- I am excited for my p and p coming back to me soon
So Catalyst, this is still w/out any upgrade on your clutch? I am getting the DH one too, just b/c yours slipped so much w/ the last dyno.
Hey on a sort of off the subject topic, did anyone see the HCI w/ the HP kit for our cars? I laughed when I saw that they were all excited about 168 tq- try adding at least 20 to that # to get what the SF kit is putting out

A little off topic but curious how many miles did you have on your stock clutch? How many of those miles have you had the turbo running on it?

I have 41,800 miles on my car, and 27,000 boosted miles. All on the same clutch.

The SF turbo is incredible, it's the gains from the PnP that I'm questioning -it's the bright blue curve, right?

It is all curves. I gained almost 30 whp and 15 ft/lbs with the ported head.

I am switching to a DH Racing clutch.

With a better clutch I bet you'll see around 50whp increase. IMO So for the N/A guys, I don't see why they wouldn't see at least 20whp.
