Goldline (1.75 F/r)
i have a question guys, i searched but i cant find EXACTLy what im looking for. Ok im pretty upset cause i just ordered and received my 18's with 215/35 tires. I also just spent the rest of my money on a body kit. So i dont have really any money left. I was wondering if my car is going to look like a off road vehical at stock ride height. And also if it is, would GOLDLINE LOWERING SPRINGS FOR 2001-2003 CIVIC 2DR (1.75 F/R) Be a ok choice to lower my car? i was told by a few shops in my area to get 18's with 215/35's because then i wont need to drop my car. Im not sure what they were thinking, but i think my car is going to look like a truck, and i really dont want that.
So any info would be great, I really dont wanna lower my car, but i dont wanna look like a truck, i dont mind wheel gap, i just dont want TONS. Thanks guys, sorry for being a pain.

i had 215/40/18's with about a 1 1/2 to 2 finger gap so it's better than no drop at all! Goldlines would be fine though man.
If all you want to do is drop the car, pretty much anything will accomplish that. However, if you care about your shocks/struts, ride quality, etc. you can get those if you really want them, but I'd get a set of Konis to go with 'em. If you don't, you MAY lose your ride quality COMPLETLY, i.e. blown strut, etc. If you can deal with it for a while, save up and get some B&G's, TEIN Basic's, or something of that nature.
Just my $0.02
Boilermaker, Zzyzx, robclark, etc. could prolly help you out more than I
I personally, don't care about ride quality and life of the stock struts, I have Neuspeed Race Springs (2.5" drop front, 2.0" drop rear) but I'm using them to get me through some auto X races...IMO ANYTHING is better than stock, lol. And I plan to get TEIN SS's come this winter, so yeah, take it for what it's worth...FREE advice. lol

Ride quality is all relative...I installed my Neuspeed Race Springs today and I don't think it's all that bad, it's not that much different from stock. Granted it's not as smooth, but it's not bouncy either. I'd say it's firm, and I can feel the road MUCH better. BTW, I have stock struts, so I wouldn't worry about "Ride quality" unless you like your car to ride like a Caddy!! lol
Yes ... DON'T FORGET THE CAMBER KIT(s) Especially the rear, the front is not necessary, but the rear IS!!
