Prelude Susp. in a Civic?

Im thinking about doing an engine swap. a H22A into a civic. since the engine is so heavy, would I need to upgrade to a aftermarket Prelude suspension? or can the Civic suspension handle the heavy load?

Any help would be great. Tank ya

i hope u dont plan on puttin that h22 in a 7th gen bc it wont fit......if its an earlier model civic...get a coliver system you should be fine then

1) H22a doesn't fit on 7thgen
2) Prelude suspension won't work.

only engine into a 7thgen is a k series, unless you want to get some custom work done, which you probably don't for just a prelude engine

prelude and 7thgen civics are totally different

7thgen engine bay is way to small for a H22A to fit, just install a K20 and your car is a new model and putting a old engine from an old honda body is kinda odd and weird

Wheter you can make it fit or not our suspension is totally different therefore isnt really ideal...
